We were inspired by the many flowers on the Hill, and imagined our sculpture as a piece in someone’s outdoor garden. Taking the form of the bird we applied a hibiscus onto the shape, removing the ‘ostrich-ness’ from the final piece. The colors are vibrant hibiscus-type, and were applied in a bold, pop-art style.
This ostrich will be auctioned off at our live AbZOOlutely Auction on November 18.
Bidders need not be present at the live auction to win. Bids can be left with the AbZOOlutely staff up until 5:00 pm on November 17.
